A Statewide Tradition of Excellence

History
Literature
Science
Mathematics
Fine Arts
Current Events
Geography
Government and Civics
The competition challenges students to think quickly, work collaboratively, and apply their knowledge in a dynamic team environment.
Investing in Students and Communities
The Illinois Masonic Academic Bowl reflects the long standing Masonic commitment to education, leadership, and community service. Local Masonic Lodges throughout Illinois proudly sponsor schools, provide volunteers, host tournaments, and contribute resources that help make the program possible each year.
By supporting the Academic Bowl, Illinois Freemasons help create opportunities for students to excel academically while building confidence, friendships, and leadership skills that extend far beyond competition day.
Looking Toward the Future
As education and technology continue to evolve, the Illinois Masonic Academic Bowl remains committed to adapting and growing while preserving the values that have guided the program for more than four decades.
The mission remains clear: to celebrate knowledge, reward achievement, and encourage the next generation of Illinois leaders through academic competition and community partnership.
